Now that the holiday is here and orders for gift wrapping and christmas cards are over I have to start considering my next Etsy product. Will it be cat butt polymer clay magnets, or my positive saying buttons? Both are close to being ready but it takes time to make things and finding time is always the challenge to running a handmade store. So I have broken down what did really well that was not christmas related and build on that.
Also those pictures that’s so big and right now mine are lacking, and I know how to take pictures. But in that Christmas craziness it was just important to post but now it’s time to get that polished a little better. Also those descriptions on my phone where short and I need to beef those up and make them search worthy. So when you have the responsibility you take the time if it matters and I think this is where it’s not just a hobby. I give great consideration to what I create, and Etsy makes it easy for me to share. Will I make a living, not if I don’t find that next thing. I’m hopeful plus I have a few ideas.
I think one of my favorite sayings is find a way and in some weird way this little store means the world to me and I will find my way. I can see the shore and I love the things I create out of my illustrations, and others seem to also enjoy my items as well. And again making others happy is a blessing, and I get to illustrate for a living. Always thought it would be my watercolors but it’s my little passionate doodles.
