This is the decade of digital art, there are spirts of paintings but I opened an Etsy store, was in the middle of my graphic design career and painting takes up a lot of space that I didn’t have, or that is what I told myself. I will get to a point where I have to make real things and not just digital assets. This is also when I moved to Austin and that changed everything again.
I worked for Tony Roma’s and they used my artwork in their restaurants so most of the real art was actually created for a client, but artist’s have to eat.
I have always enjoyed making things with my hands and when you have a handmade store you find things to make, then you find you love those things and don’t want to sell them.
